This morning, Somerset County Public Schools was honored to welcome Maryland State Superintendent Dr. Carey Wright and Maryland State Board of Education Member Mr. Chet Chesterfield to Crisfield!
Their visit began at Crisfield Academy & High School, where they met with school leadership and observed instruction in Ms. Justice’s Algebra class and Ms. Smith’s ELA III class. They then headed to Carter G. Woodson Elementary School to visit Mrs. Carey’s first grade classroom and observe math instruction in Ms. Kinder-Young’s third grade class.
We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase the incredible teaching and learning happening in our Crisfield schools. Thank you, Dr. Wright and Mr. Chesterfield, for your time, your insight, and your support of Maryland’s students!
